When viewing matched candidates for a specific job listing, the platform calculates a match score indicating how well each candidate aligns with the role's requirements.

How to View Match Scores 1. Navigate to Job Matches

From Jobs > Manage, click the Matches count on any job listing to open the matches page.

2. Review the Overview

Stats cards show:

  • Total Matches — Number of candidates matched to this job
  • Average Match Score — The average score across all matches

3. Browse Matched Candidates

Each matched candidate shows:

  • Name and headline
  • Match Score Badge — Color-coded percentage
  • Location
  • Top skills (first 3)
  • Availability status
  • View Profile button

How Scores Are Calculated

The matching algorithm evaluates:

  • Clearance Level — Does the candidate's clearance meet or exceed the requirement?
  • Skills Alignment — How many required skills does the candidate have?
  • Experience Level — Does the candidate's experience meet the minimum?
  • Location Compatibility — Is the candidate local, remote-eligible, or willing to relocate?
  • Availability — Is the candidate actively looking?

Reading the Score

  • 80–100% (Green) — Strong match. Prioritize outreach to these candidates.
  • 60–79% (Amber) — Good potential. Review their profile for specific gaps.
  • Below 60% — Partial match. May still be worth considering for hard-to-fill roles.

Tips

  • Sort by match score to prioritize the most qualified candidates first.
  • A high match score does not replace profile review — always check the candidate's full profile before reaching out.
  • Match scores update as candidates update their profiles, so check back periodically.
