Cleared Talent Connect supports multiple user roles. The role you choose determines which features and dashboards are available to you.

Available Roles Candidate

For cleared professionals looking for jobs. As a candidate you can:

  • Build a professional profile with clearance details
  • Search and apply to cleared job listings
  • Receive match scores based on your qualifications
  • Connect with recruiters and hiring managers

Recruiter

For talent acquisition professionals sourcing cleared candidates. Recruiters can:

  • Search the candidate database
  • Post and manage job listings (if permitted by your manager)
  • Review applications and schedule interviews
  • Send connection requests and messages to candidates

Manager

For company owners or hiring managers who oversee recruiting operations. Managers have all recruiter capabilities plus:

  • Create and manage the company profile
  • Invite and manage recruiters on the team
  • Manage subscription plans and billing
  • Configure automations and integrations

Steps 1. Select Your Role During Onboarding

After creating your account, you will be prompted to choose your role. Select the option that best describes how you will use the platform.

2. Complete Role-Specific Setup

Each role has its own onboarding flow:

  • Candidates proceed through a five-step profile wizard.
  • Recruiters are typically invited by a manager and join an existing company.
  • Managers go through company onboarding to set up their organization.

Tips

  • Your role cannot easily be changed after onboarding. Choose carefully.
  • If you are both a hiring manager and actively seeking roles, consider which function is your primary need.
