The onboarding process walks you through setting up your account so you can start using the platform right away. The steps differ based on your role.

The onboarding process walks you through setting up your account so you can start using the platform right away. The steps differ based on your role.

Candidate Onboarding

Candidate onboarding is a five-step wizard:

Step 1: Upload Your Resume

Upload your resume in PDF or Word format. The system will automatically parse your resume to extract your work history, education, skills, and other details. A progress indicator shows the parsing status.

Step 2: Extract Information

Review the skills extracted from your resume. Use the skills autocomplete search to add any missing skills. Remove any skills that are not relevant.

Step 3: Review and Edit

Confirm the extracted information including your work experience, education, and certifications. Edit any fields that were not parsed correctly.

Step 4: Additional Information

Provide additional details:

  • Clearance date — When your clearance was granted or last investigated
  • Availability status — Whether you are actively looking, open to opportunities, or not available
  • Work preferences — Relocation willingness and remote work preferences

Step 5: Complete

Review your profile summary and confirm. You will be redirected to your candidate dashboard.

Tips

  • Upload your most recent resume for the best parsing results.
  • You can always edit your profile later — onboarding captures the essentials to get you started.
  • Completing your profile increases your visibility to recruiters by up to 3x.
