Each job listing has a hiring pipeline that tracks candidates through the interview process. Understanding and using pipeline stages helps your team stay organized.
Default Pipeline Stages
Every job listing comes with these default stages:
- Applied — Application has been submitted
- Phone Screen — Initial phone screening
- Technical Interview — Technical assessment
- Final Interview — Final round interview
- Offer — Offer has been extended
- Hired — Candidate has been hired
- Rejected — Application has been declined
Steps 1. View a Job's Pipeline
Navigate to Jobs > Manage, then click the applicant count on any job listing to view its applications. The pipeline stage is shown for each applicant.
2. Move a Candidate Through Stages
Open an application and use the Stage dropdown to advance the candidate to the next stage. The system records the stage change in the application's activity timeline.
3. Configure Stage Templates
Managers can configure default stage templates from Settings > Stage Templates. These templates apply to new job listings created by your company.
Tips
- Move candidates through stages promptly so your team has an accurate picture of the pipeline.
- Use the Rejected stage with a reason to maintain records and support re-engagement later.
- The application detail page shows how many days a candidate has been in their current stage. Use this to identify bottlenecks.
