If you are receiving unwanted communication, you can block a user to prevent further contact.
Steps 1. Open the Conversation
Navigate to Messages and select the conversation with the user you want to block.
2. Open the Actions Menu
Click the dropdown menu in the conversation header (top right of the message thread).
3. Select Block or Report
Choose from:
- Block — Prevents the user from messaging you or viewing your profile
- Report — Report the user for inappropriate behavior
4. Report Details (If Reporting)
If you choose to report, you will be prompted to:
- Select a Reason from the dropdown (e.g., Inappropriate Content, Spam, Fraudulent)
- Provide Details describing the issue in the text area
5. Confirm
Submit your block or report. The action takes effect immediately.
What Happens When You Block Someone
- They can no longer send you messages.
- They cannot view your profile.
- Existing messages remain in your history but no new ones can be sent.
- The block is not visible to the other user — they will simply not be able to find or contact you.
Tips
- Blocking is reversible if needed. Contact support if you want to unblock someone.
- Use the Report feature for serious issues like harassment, fraud, or spam. The platform team reviews all reports.
